Kinesiology is a form of natural healthcare that uses non invasive and gentle muscle testing (as a type of body language) to find out imbalances within the body. It works from the perspective that different muscles relate to different organs and healing systems in the body. When these muscles are ‘weak’ the energy (chi or prana) of these organs and/or healing systems is out of balance. Once any problems areas have been identified, acupressure massage, nutritional suggestions, and other new thinking techniques may also be utilised to restore balance.
It works most effectively from the perspective of preventing problems before they arise, but it can also be beneficial for people who are experiencing a range of complaints that sometimes can’t be explained medically.
Jo was introduced to Kinesiology in 2008 after a series of health concerns that couldn’t be solved medically. After experiencing the results of natural health treatments first hand and making significant changes to her personal and professional life, she went on to complete the Balanced Health Foundation Training Levels 1-6 in 2011 and The Academy of Systematic Kinesiology Professional Practitioner Training in 2017 and now runs a Kinesiology clinic from her home in Taunton as a fully qualified Kinesiologist.
Jo has also studied many other areas of complementary health such as Meridian Tapping (also known as EFT,) advanced communication skills and chakra healing. Click on the tabs below to find out more about Jo’s Kinesiology treatments …
